These cake pops are less messy and a lot simpler to make because you make them without frosting inside. They are less dense than homemade cake pops, which means easier to coat and seal to lollipop sticks. Just follow the instructions below for tasty cake pops without the hassle.

Pour the batter into a piping bag and fill each cake pop cavity in the cake pop maker to just below the top (careful not to overfill).

Step #6. Bake for 4 to 5 Minutes

Close the lid and bake for 4 to 5 minutes (you can use a toothpick to check if it's ready). Remove the cake balls to a tray carefully, as the cake pop maker can become very hot to handle. I like to use a heat gloveor spatula. When finished, unplug the unit and let it cool before wiping clean.

COOKING TIP:If there is excess cake on the cake balls (which is common), simply remove it with a small knife, once the cake pops have cooled.

Step #7. Make the Glaze

Mix the powdered sugar and the orange juice until smooth.

If you want to add a little pop of fun to your cake pops, sprinkle some colored sugar or cute sprinkles onto the wet glaze, or dip them into chocolate. This will make them look extra festive for a holiday party, birthday celebration, or any other type of gathering!

To store your pops, place them in an airtight container. You can keep them at room temperature for about a week, about 2 weeks in the fridge, or up to 3 months in the freezer.
