Sentenced to three months' unlawful possession a dangerous imprisonment, suspended for twe Martin Tickle (22), labourer, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to drag, namely cannabis resin. Mr. J.
H. Wroath (prosecuting) said that on August 11th P.C. T. Bailey, stationed at Ryde, who was attached to the south east drug squad, went to a camp aite at Bin- stead Woods, Ryde. Re searched the csmp and found a cigarette end which was clearly home made and of the type used for smoking cannabis.
Tickle said he had been sleeping in the woods with few other people, and a man had brought cannabis into the camp. It was the first time he had used the drug. After hearing the probation officer, the bench remanded Tickle in custody for three weeks for medical reports.
