Story

In Pokemon Omega Ruby, players take on the role of a young trainer who embarks on a journey to become the best Pokemon trainer in the Hoenn region. The game is a remake of the original Pokemon Ruby game, which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002.

The story begins with the player character moving to the town of Littleroot, where they receive their first Pokemon from Professor Birch. The player’s rival, Brendan or May, also receives a Pokemon from the professor, and the two set off on their respective journeys.

As the player travels through the region, they encounter various Gym Leaders and trainers, and must defeat them in battles to earn Gym Badges. The ultimate goal is to collect all eight Gym Badges and participate in the Pokemon League, where they will face off against the Elite Four and the champion.

Along the way, the player must also foil the plans of two villainous organizations: Team Magma and Team Aqua. Team Magma seeks to expand the land by awakening the Legendary Pokemon Groudon, while Team Aqua seeks to expand the sea by awakening the Legendary Pokemon Kyogre.

The player must stop both teams from carrying out their plans, and eventually discovers that the Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza has the power to calm both Groudon and Kyogre. With Rayquaza’s help, the player is able to stop Team Magma and Team Aqua, and the two Legendary Pokemon return to their slumber.

In the end, the player faces off against the Elite Four and the champion, Steven Stone. After defeating them, the player becomes the new champion of the Hoenn region. The game also features a post-game storyline involving the Delta Episode, in which the player must save the world from a meteoroid and encounter the Legendary Pokemon Deoxys.
