Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 3 cups uncooked extra-wide egg noodles

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Chopped fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  • In a Dutch oven or pot, saute the chopped onion in the butter for 4-5 minutes over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
